Friday the 13th was an independently organized exhibition showcasing work by recent Western Kentucky University graduates across painting, illustration, and mixed media. Hosted at Yellowberri, a digital design agency, the show transformed a commercial studio into a pop-up gallery and social space.
94 works were installed salon-style by the curator. All artworks were for sale, and the opening night featured live music by local musicians, community programming, and interactive elements, including a retro gaming tournament. The event functioned as both an exhibition and a cultural gathering, emphasizing accessibility, artist visibility, and peer-to-peer support within the regional creative community.
The curator led all aspects of production, including venue partnership, installation, artist coordination, event programming, and the design of all branding and marketing materials.
